Of course I adore all of my clients, but once in a while I come across a client who I feel like I instantly click with, and Emma was just that✨ the sweetest, most gorgeous sister of the bride from a lovely May wedding!
One of two MDW weddings🤩 with three stunning sisters! @tiffythich (aka sister 3😂) is a friend of mine and I did her make up for her wedding in 2022, so I was SO excited to do her and her sisters’ hair and makeup this past weekend for their other sister’s wedding!!❤️
PSA: dirty hair is NOT better🫠 I cannot tell you how many times I’ve heard “I didn’t wash my hair because dirty hair is better to work with, right?!” …wrong😬 the oil in your hair weighs it down and therefore makes it harder to hold a curl. Lingering products in your hair can also hinder styles. Plus, would you want to style someone’s dirty hair?! I always tell my clients to arrive with clean, dry hair for appointments. This helps us stay on schedule and yield the best results possible🤗 #TipTuesday
I loved getting to glam up Lilli for her senior prom yesterday! Such a fun change of pace from my normal natural glam looks🤩💜
First things first, I love the sound of bridal ~preview~ instead of bridal trial. Having a bridal preview with your HMUA serves many purposes! What can you expect at your bridal preview? -It’s a chance for us to get to know each other -I ask you questions to help meet your specific concerns/needs before we get started -You can visually see whether or not you truly love what you *think* you wanted (similar to trying on dresses, sometimes you don’t actually love the styles you thought you would!) -My personal favorite: we can make adjustments if needed on your wedding day!! You only get married once and I want to help make sure you feel like your most beautiful self!🫶🏼 -Oh and last but not least and completely unrelated to hair and makeup— I’ll probably ask to see pictures of your fur babies😂 I don’t require previews, but always highly recommend them for all of the reasons above🤍🤍

TOUCH UP KITS✨ I started providing these to my clients in the past year and it’s a simple little touch that I LOVE! I add some of the lip color I apply on the client to the mini lip gloss tube so they can reapply throughout the night. The oil blotting sheets are great for when you go a little hard on the dance floor😂 I have seven of these babies all set for tomorrow’s wedding!🥳
